the Order
The Order of St. Mary of Bethlehem is a modern expression of an ancient tradition,
dedicated to serving the marginalised and underserved. Inspired by the chivalric virtues of charity, empathy, and support, we strive to make a tangible difference in our communities.
Our mission is to create a supportive environment where every person’s unique experiences and perspectives contribute to making a positive impact in our communities.
MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT
We promote and educate about mental health with the hope to reduce the stigma that surrounds mental health and suicide. We will look to educate the public by visiting schools and workplaces to offer support and raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing. With our Walk the Bridge events we will raise awareness of those contemplating suicide.
What We Do
HOMELESSNESS
We aid and support the homeless community by providing care packages and assisting with signposting. We will provide support to the homeless by providing care packs and providing them with the means to look after their personal hygiene. We will look at other ways we can support them and signpost to relevant agencies, charities, and shelters that may be able to help them while they are homeless.
VETERANS
We support struggling veterans by providing food, housing assistance, care packs, and guidance to specialist charities. We partner with mental‑health organisations experienced in PTSD and substance‑abuse counselling to ensure veterans receive expert help. We also work with local authorities so veterans receive priority access to services guaranteed under the Armed Forces Covenant.
POVERTY & VULNERABLE
We provide help and support to the vulnerable and to those who are living in poverty. We will provide services to help the vulnerable with signposting and support in whatever form that it takes with the provision of food or clothing. Helping them by getting the support they need when dealing with outside agencies.

You stand before the humble sanctuary of The Order of the Knights of St Mary of Bethlehem, a community interest company devoted to compassion, service, and the uplifting of all souls.
Though our name echoes the chivalric brotherhoods of ages past, we proclaim with clarity and honour that we are not descended from, nor bound to, the ancient Order, its Priory, or its Hospital. We are a new fellowship, forged for the needs of this age, yet inspired by the virtues that guided those who walked before us.
